One of the women who escaped from the alleged late organ harvester, Andrew Amaechi, shared her harrowing ordeal while refuting claims made by a friend of the deceased.
During a live session with media personality Daddy Freeze, activist Harrison Gwamnishu, and Andrew’s friend, Mr. Ben, the woman identified simply as Rachel recounted how Andrew threatened her life and attempted to harvest her organs.
She revealed that he threatened to kill her and remove her organs, making it appear as if he were conducting a ritual. Rachel further disclosed that he brandished sharp knives in an attempt to carry out his threat.
Challenging accusations of theft leveled against her by Andrew’s friend, Rachel questioned why Mr. Ben always confided in him about everything. She also asserted that she never stole from Andrew and shared how she intervened to save another girl named Amaka from falling victim to the deceased’s schemes.
Rachel admitted to being the person in the video Andrew sent to Ben, and she revealed that Andrew had also sent him altered conversations.
Describing how she met Andrew, Rachel explained that they initially connected on Facebook, and she sought his advice regularly.
They decided to meet after Andrew mentioned he would be in Nigeria for his mother’s birthday celebration. Rachel disclosed that Andrew invited her over and provided her with N50k for transportation.
However, upon attempting to inform her friends of her whereabouts, Andrew allegedly attacked her, confiscated her phone, and informed her that she could only leave his house alive if she complied with his demands.
