Zara Tindall is known for her devoted mothering, although sightings of her with her children are rare. Thus, royal enthusiasts were undoubtedly, thrilled to catch a glimpse of the Olympic equestrian with her son Lucas on Sunday.
Attending the Badminton Horse Trials, Princess Anne’s daughter was spotted holding her three-year-old while sporting a white shirt, dark jacket, slim trousers, and her riding hat. In one endearing photograph, Zara could be seen cuddling her young son, while in another, she appeared amused as he playfully stuck out his tongue.
Her husband, retired rugby player Mike, also shared the parenting duties, carrying Lucas in another charming family snapshot. Meanwhile, the couple’s daughters were dressed in complementary summery outfits: ten-year-old Mia wore a white T-shirt and denim shorts paired with a pale blue baseball cap, while five-year-old Lena donned a matching cap with a floral dress.
Zara wasn’t the sole royal presence at the event that day. Queen Camilla also graced the annual gathering, exuding elegance in a stylish blue summer dress. She delightedly presented ten-year-old Rhea Salt from the Beaufort Pony Club with a stuffed pony and graciously posed for a photo with British equestrian and former Badminton winner Lucinda Green.
In a candid conversation with Di Stewart on IMG Golf’s Opinion Matters podcast, which delves into various topics including golf, sports enthusiast Zara discussed her hectic schedule and how she juggles her non-stop itinerary while fulfilling her role as a mother.
She said: “I think there’s a lot of juggling going on, I think trying to fit everything in can be a real struggle, I don’t think it’s just me but what you do find hard as a mother with kids [is] trying to make sure that you spend the right amount of time and quality time with the kids as well as have a career and fit everything in around it.”
