Lady Margarita Armstrong-Jones is the most prominent Royal Family member you’ve probably never heard of.
The second child of David, 2nd Earl of Snowdon, and Serena, Countess of Snowdon, Lady Margarita is currently 26th in line to the throne, bridging the gap between royalty and normality.
Princess Margaret’s only granddaughter has been present at all the key royal events, from joining her great-aunt Queen Elizabeth II at Trooping the Colour to walking hand-in-hand with Prince William to church at Sandringham.
More recently, she was among the mourners at Westminster Abbey for Her Majesty’s State Funeral in 2022. Last year, she graced the cover of Tatler in couture, expressing her love for fashion and her enthusiasm for experimenting with styles.
Today, as she turns 22, Lady Margarita runs her own jewelry brand, Matita, which features handmade pieces inspired by the natural world.
Her interest in fashion emerged early; at 14, she attended the Dior Cruise show at Blenheim Palace.
Often sharing items with her stylish mother, the Countess of Snowdon, her memorable outfits frequently include delicate fascinators and designer dresses. As she celebrates her birthday, we look back at some of her most significant fashion moments.
