A Lamborghini thief raced through the streets of Log Angeles before dying in a horror crash.
How it Happened
Elliott Dugan, 51, at first was pulled over by officers on April 6 at around 5am, initially because they spotted him sleep at the wheel while at a stop light.
Then cops ran his license and registration, the officers found he had multiple felony warrants and the supercar was reported stolen.
As he was ordered to step out of the car, Dugan argued before speeding away, and reached 113mph until he collided with a central median that sent him 100 feet down the road.

He Sped Off
He handed over his license and registration, but refused to get out of the car after his criminal history was flagged, repeatedly telling the officer he needed to hand back his license and that he ‘knows the law.’
At the Scene
As Dugan and the officer went back and forth, he hit the accelerator on the sports car, racing away from the scene at high speed and leaving the officers scrambling to get back in their vehicle.
Several trees that he struck lay over the wreck, with debris seen strewn across roughly a hundred feet away from the crash site while shocked witnesses stood by.
The police frantically spoke over the radio as they searched for Dugan, before discovering his unconscious body by the side of the road after he was ejected from the vehicle.
