Lady Amelia Windsor has debuted a striking new hairstyle just in time for summer. On Thursday, Prince Harry and Prince William’s third cousin took to her Instagram Stories to share a series of snapshots documenting her visit to the hairdresser, culminating in the reveal of her dramatic new look.
Trading her long flowing locks, the 28-year-old model opted for a modern, jaw-length bob. Amelia teased her transformation initially with a photo of her chopped tresses on the salon floor, before unveiling her finished look in a sweet video clip.
Clearly delighted with her new appearance, the royal, who attended The University of Edinburgh, smiled broadly as she posed in front of a mirror, swishing her blonde locks from side to side.
Lady Amelia and her sister Lady Marina are granddaughters of Prince Edward, the Duke of Kent, with their father being the duke’s eldest son, George Windsor. As second cousins of the King, Lady Amelia is 43rd in line to the throne.
Amelia is also making strides as a model and is currently signed with Storm Model Management. She has been featured in stylish publications such as Tatler and Vogue Japan, and has walked the catwalk for major fashion houses like Chanel and Bulgari.
This eye-catching transformation comes shortly after her attendance at a chic event at The Savoy earlier this month. For the occasion, Amelia exuded sophistication in an all-black ensemble, pairing a sheer lace corset top with polka dots, smart black wide-leg trousers, and chunky black leather loafers from Miu Miu.
Completing her look, she carried a unique black and white satin handbag shaped like a house from Lulu Guinness, and adorned herself with a stack of bracelets and rings. Her honey-hued locks were styled in a side part, and she wore a slick of red polish on her nails.
For makeup, Amelia chose a radiant beauty look with warm bronzer, pops of highlighter, and a glossy lip.
