An innocent woman was gunned down after getting caught in the crossfire of a drive-by shooting between ‘rival gangs’ at around 7.30pm.
What Happened?
CCTV obtained shows the victim slumped onto the pavement after being shot in the leg by a stray bullet yesterday evening in Stamford Hill, north London.Â
The Cross-fire Incident
Footage reveals how occupants of two cars – one of which appears to not have a number plate – shot at each other while stuck in traffic on the busy street, before speeding off.
The victim, in her 30s, had been walking along the street with two others when she was shot before collapsing on the pavement as shocked bystanders run to her aid.
She was rushed to a major trauma centre in east London where her injuries were assessed as non-life threatening.

Officers confirmed the victim was not the intended target.
Police were still present at the scene of the attack on Wednesday morning, with a large cordon in place.
Three green paramedic bags were still on the pavement near to where the woman had been treated.
