A group of British ‘stag do’ tourists brawled outside a Majorca restaurant, which resulted in eight being arrested.
HOW IT WENT DOWN
The commotion which involved the British party-goers occurred at around 7.30pm yesterday at the Balneario Illetas beach club restaurant in Calvia, the municipality where party resort Magaluf is located.
Town hall chiefs said a waiter had been injured after being hit in the head and two police officers were also hurt in the violent scenes which saw dozens of waiters and holidaymakers fighting it out on a beach outside the venue.
They said they would be taking a tough stance against people who ‘put the security of the municipality at risk’.
Footage of the incident that led to the arrests of the British revellers has emerged, showing the violent scuffle after spilling out onto a Majorcan beach.

In the clip, security guards and restaurant staff were grappling with the allegedly drunken holidaymakers on the sand, as reggaeton music played in the background.
Women could be heard screaming ‘Stop’ and one onlooker was overheard saying: ‘I just can’t believe it.’ Other bystanders could be seen watching on from the restaurant, filming the fight with their phones.
In a second clip, showing another angle of the fight, one man is seen punching another in the face, knocking him the ground and prompting gasps from onlookers.
