Camila Cabello in a candid interview on the Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard podcast opened up about losing her virginity at 20 to her first boyfriend Matthew Hussey.
The former Fifth Harmony singer dated the famed relationship guru for a little over a year between 2018 and 2019.
Reflecting on the first time she had s*x with Hussey, Cabello, now 27, described the experience as ‘beautiful’.Â
‘I had my first relationship at that time,’ she said.
How She First Attracted to Him
‘I had actually listened to his podcast before … because he had, like, a dating podcast. And he is married now, so congratulations.’
The singer admitted that Hussey was her first boyfriend, saying, ‘It was late for my first relationship. I was 20.’
She continued, ‘That was my first time having sex. First lovemaking was at 20, 21. … It was literally lovemaking. It was beautiful.’
Describing Hussey as a ‘great partner’, Cabello admitted that she learned a lot dating the author – who is now married.

She Still Keeps Some Great Memories
‘He was a really great person. It was like the perfect first relationship. It really expanded my world because he wasn’t in my industry too,’ she said.
‘It was like, “Oh my God, have you ever seen Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown and have you ever seen Studio Ghibli films?” He just really expanded my references.’
In a 2018 interview, Hussey described Cabello as, ‘an incredible human being’.
Is Hussey Married Now?
After they split in 2019, Hussey went on to find love with Audrey Le Strat and the couple tied the knot in Sicily last year.
