19-year-old girl’s body is FOUND in Newcastle park two days after she disappeared

Reagan Brown was first reported missing on Monday evening from Leazes Park in Newcastle city centre.

How She Was Found

Divers were seen at the park yesterday afternoon as were members of North of Tyne Mountain Rescue where Northumbria Police found her body.

Formal identification is yet to take place, and investigation is developing.

Police Statement

Superintendent Kevin Waring, of Northumbria Police, said: ‘This is an extremely tragic conclusion to our investigation and our thoughts are with Reagan’s loved ones at this difficult time.

‘I would like to thank officers and partners who helped in the search for Reagan – as well as the wider public who shared our appeal and provided information to support our enquiries. 

‘We would ask that Reagan’s family and friends are given privacy as they try to process this sad news.’
