A man has been charged with murder after his ex wife was brutally stabbed to death in Bradford city centre on Saturday, West Yorkshire.
The victim Ms Akter was ambushed on Saturday while she walked with her five-month-old son during a shopping trip.
While the brutal acts was been carried out on her, she used her remaining strength to push her baby in a pram in Bradford.
Footage from the scene in Westgate just minutes after the stabbing shows police and Ms Akter’s friends looking after her child, lying unharmed in a pram.
Armed police rushed in and arrested Habibur Masum on Tuesday as he was trying to flee in a car in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.

Why Masum Was Arrested
Last year, Masum had been the subject of an intense manhunt and is understood to be the victim’s former partner and father to her child.
The suspect appeared at Tameside Magistrates’ Court accused of assaulting and threatening to kill Ms Akter last November but was released on bail.
Following the tragic news of the death of Ms Akter, family members shared their heartbreak and paid tribute.
Masum is expected to appear at Bradford Magistrates Court today.
