Woman plunges to her DEATH in bathroom robe FROM eight storeys in a case of self harm

A woman in Sydney first threw out her dog before she ‘herself’ plunged eight storeys to her death.

The horrific incident at about 3 pm today, causing a stand still for automobiles.

Police and paramedics rushed to the scene following tip that a woman had fallen from a balcony overlooking a lane off a Barangaroo street.

The woman was wearing a bathrobe and a pair of shoes when she fell, a resident said.

Officers established a crime scene and a spokesperson from NSW Police ruled that the incident is believed to be a case of self-harm. 

One resident.at the back of the 22-storey apartment block overlooked the grisly scene, with clothing seen strewn over the footpath. 

‘I’ve lived here for three years but I don’t know who the woman was,’ one witness said.

‘It’s always been a quiet apartment. We didn’t hear any disturbances beforehand.’
