U2 star Adam Clayton and his wife Mariana Teixeira de Carvalho have parted ways after living as a couple more than a decade.
The news was confirmed by their representative, who shared a statement to the Sunday World that read: ‘After more than 10 years of marriage, musician Adam Clayton and lawyer Mariana Teixeira de Carvalho have amicably divorced.

‘Both will continue to be fully involved in the care of their six-yea-old daughter and they request that the family’s privacy be respected.’

How it All Started For Adam and Mariana
Adam and Mariana tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at a registry office in Dublin in 2013.
The couple then held a second ceremony days later on the French Riviera at the 14th-century château in Mandelieu-la-Napoule, with Adam’s bandmates Bono and The Edge in attendance.
At the time it was reported Adam was swapping Dublin for London, where Mariana worked as an associate director of Hauser & Wirth art gallery, after a career as a human rights lawyer.
