Lifetime is working to release documentary titled ‘The Life and Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson‘ ahead of the 30th anniversary of her and Ronald Goldman’s 1994 murders.
The new two-way documentary will center on the life and untimely death of Nicole Brown Simpson, and it will be on air this June.
The documentary will air over two nights, and the June premiere date is subject to change.
About Nicole Brown Simpson
Nicole Brown Simpson was 35 and mother-of-two when she died. She shared a son named Justin and a daughter named Sydney with husband Orenthal James Simpson.
On June 1994 evening in California, Nicole and her friend Ronald Goldman were found dead at the Simpson home.
Trial of the Century
Her husband O.J. she has married for seven years and whom she shares her two children with was arrested for the murders following a nationally broadcast slow-speed chase in Los Angeles, but he was later acquitted of all charges in what came to be known as the ‘Trial of the Century.’
He went on to be found liable in a 1997 civil suit related to the deaths and later served jail time for separate crimes unrelated to the case.
While the former football superstar’s controversial life has been the topic of multiple documentaries over the years, Lifetime’s upcoming project is said to explore Nicole’s perspective and experience with domestic violence.
The project falls under the network’s Stop Violence Against Women initiative.

How O.J. Died
Simpson’s family announced his death in a statement on X on Thursday, April 11. Orenthal died at age 76 of cancer on Wednesday, April 10.
His family wrote: ‘On April 10th, our father, Orenthal James Simpson, succumbed to his battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his children and grandchildren.’
‘During this time of transition, his family asks that you please respect their wishes for privacy and grace,’ the statement read.
