Nicki Minaj‘s husband Kenneth Petty who is on probation for his 2021 conviction of failing to register as a sex offender has petitioned a court to approve him leaving the U.S.

What Did Nicki Minaj Husband Say About Offset?

Petty’s legal case started when he posted social media clips with aggressive messages made toward Migos rapper Offset.

Petty asks, ‘Offset, where you at?’ and threatened to ‘knock them veneers out.’ In another two-minute video, a man accompanying Petty said, ‘Plan that vacation, you should be planning your funeral, p—.’

He then received a 120-day house arrest sentence in connection with a probation violation.

A court order filed in the case in California’s Central District stated that Petty on September 16, 2023 ‘was recorded on video making threatening remarks to a specific individual while in the company of someone with a criminal record,’ according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Now the 46-year-old seeks to accompany Nicki Minaj the Grammy-nominated artist on her Pink Friday 2 tour in Europe to watch their three-year-old son.

Date for Pink Friday 2 Tour

The slate of dates begins Wednesday in Montreal and spans through locales such as London, Amsterdam and Paris, with a projected wrap-up date of July 14 in Belgium – the same date Petty told the court he could be in the U.S. by.

Hopefully he will luck-in as his probation officer – stemming initially from his first-degree attempted rape conviction in April 1995 – ‘hasn’t raised any objections to his travel request,’ per TMZ, citing court docs.

If Petty has his wish granted, he would legally need to give his probation officer a full travel itinerary and remain in contact upon his return.
