Meghan Markle found herself in an ‘awkward’ situation when it appeared she subtly rearranged the positioning of individuals near Prince Harry during the recent Sentebale polo tournament.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were spotted sharing a kiss at a charity event in Miami on Friday. Before their public display of affection, they were seen strolling hand-in-hand ahead of Harry’s fundraising polo match in Florida, with a film crew capturing their movements.

The royal couple attended the Sentebale Polo Cup, an annual event held in support of Sentebale, a charity co-founded by Harry in 2006. During the event, Harry led the Royal Salute Sentebale Team against the Grand Champions Team, ultimately emerging victorious.

Meghan then presented her husband with the trophy before they shared a kiss in front of the crowd. However, screenshots published in The Mirror suggested that Meghan may have directed Dr. Sophie Chandauka, chair of Sentebale, to stand at the center of the group.

In a video clip circulating online, Harry was seen keeping his arm around Meghan as she conversed with Dr. Chandauka, while seeming to maneuver around the stage to stand next to her husband for a photo opportunity.

This led to another woman needing to duck under a trophy to find her place on stage, after which she appeared to engage in conversation with the Duchess.

Social media users swiftly commented on the incident, with one individual remarking, “They are both so awkward,” while another added, “This is just so cringeworthy!”

However, an alternative perspective was offered by someone noting, “It was actually the other woman in the white dress asking. Lol, people make the biggest deals out of literally nothing.”

Prince Harry’s team secured a 3-1 victory, with the Duke himself scoring the first goal. The match was documented by Netflix cameras for an upcoming series about the Duke of Sussex, as part of the couple’s lucrative deal with the streaming service.

This week, news emerged that polo would be featured in a new Netflix series, with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex serving as executive producers. The Sussexes are set to contribute to two factual series, one of which will explore the world of professional polo.
