The affectionate pair appeared close during the launch of Co-Op Live on Saturday, April 20, 2024. This new indoor arena held its inaugural show with Rick Astley before its official opening by comedian Peter Kay on Tuesday, April 23.
The venue aims to attract significant events away from London, with performances by Take That, Eric Clapton, and Liam Gallagher scheduled later in the year.
Claire and Ricky were spotted radiating joy at the VIP event, with the Coronation Street actress stunning in an elegant white jumpsuit, complemented by perfectly curled blonde locks.
Meanwhile, former boxer Ricky exuded casual sophistication, wearing a navy T-shirt, a black blazer, distressed jeans, and black trainers, while proudly wrapping his arm around his partner.
The actress, recognized as Cassie Plummer in Corrie, is reportedly deeply infatuated with her Dancing On Ice co-star, as the two have developed feelings for each other behind the scenes. Speculation about their romance began when images surfaced of the pair appearing affectionate during one of their outings. After months of speculation, they have now publicly acknowledged their relationship by sharing their first photo together online, taken on the set of the ITV competition.
Ricky Hatton was celebrating the actress’ birthday on April 17 and captioned the shot with a heart-warming message, captioning: “Happy Birthday Claire. Have the best day gorgeous. Lots of love, Ricky.”
However, the enamored couple has prioritized transparency and trust in their relationship, making a significant decision to strengthen their bond.
Speaking to Mail Online, a source close to the star said: “Claire an Ricky have become really close. She wasn’t looking for a relationship but then Ricky came along and it just felt right and natural and she’s really happy.”
