A British tourist aged 30 has been found dead in a holiday apartment on the Algarve in Portugal.
The deceased who is understood to have been staying at the property with a friend was discovered inside the Orada Tourist Apartments near the marina in the town of Albufeira.

The friend is not found at the apartment and his whereabout is not known.
Source confirmed the British man’s body was found on the floor by the toilet door in his apartment and there was a lot of vomit around him.
Somebody Called in Police
The GNR force took a call around 7am this morning from an English speaker they believe was a friend saying a man was probably dead in the flat.
But the caller simply then disappeared and the police can’t find him at the moment which is what’s odd about all of this and why the police were called in.

More Diggings is on The Card
The dead man had been due to leave the apartment this morning so was probably going to fly back to the UK and investigators are trying to confirm it was his friend who called them and whether he ended up just going to Faro Airport after making the emergency call.
Full forensic examination of the apartment and CCTV footage will be next.
