As per a report by the Sun on Sunday, the couple is gearing up for separate shows that will spotlight their lives together.
Meghan is currently involved in a lifestyle program, which grabbed early attention last week with the delivery of 50 jars of her American Riviera Orchard strawberry jam to selected influencers. Meanwhile, Prince Harry’s upcoming series will center around the sport of polo.
According to insider sources cited by The Sun, Harry is more resolute than Meghan about shielding their children from the spotlight. The couple hasn’t always seen eye-to-eye on the extent to which their kids should be exposed to media attention, but in this instance, Harry’s perspective has prevailed.
Recent reports from DailyMail have unveiled official documentation indicating that Meghan’s production crew of 50 is filming not at their Montecito residence, but rather at a neighboring property just two miles away.
The authorized filming period commenced on Sunday, April 14, and will run until June 25. Aerial images of the filming location reveal a driveway filled with SUVs, production tents, and an RV.
The property, owned by Tom and Sherrie Cipolla, is located in a gated community surrounded by lemon and avocado orchards. The Cipollas are well-known in the area for their philanthropic endeavors.
Meghan’s new show aims to celebrate “the joys of cooking, gardening, entertaining, and friendship,” while both her series and Harry’s polo-themed program are not expected to delve into further grievances or allegations concerning the royal family.
The production is being handled by Sony Pictures Television’s The Intellectual Property Corporation.
Last year, the Sussexes announced intentions to produce a film adaptation of Carley Fortune’s Meet Me At The Lake, a story that resonates with their personal journey and features a character whose parent passes away in a car accident.
Sources have previously described the book as aligning perfectly with their interests, as they are fond of love stories and romantic comedies.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex notably aimed to narrate their own “love story” in their groundbreaking 2022 Netflix documentary, Harry & Meghan.
