Prince Archie And Princess Lilibet's Easter Celebrations In California Will Melt Your Hearts

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been transparent about cherishing countless moments with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, and this Easter week is undoubtedly poised to be a special one for the young family.

The royal children, residing in California, will partake in the customary Easter Sunday festivities shared by children worldwide—indulging in chocolate eggs.

In last year’s docuseries “Harry & Meghan,” the Duke and Duchess demonstrated their hands-on parenting approach, offering fans a heartwarming glimpse into numerous family milestones. Among the touching scenes from the Netflix series was one showing Prince Harry and Meghan orchestrating an Easter egg hunt for their son Archie in the sprawling garden of their expansive mansion.

Assisted by Archie’s grandmother Doria Ragland, they meticulously laid out the trail around their stream and exquisite flowerbeds within the extensive grounds of their private estate. Despite Meghan’s pregnancy with Lilibet at the time, she actively participated, marking spots in the soil while clad in denim shorts and a sun hat.

It’s expected that the Sussexes will aim to recreate a similar experience for their children this year, utilizing the abundant hiding spots in their seven-acre garden. Their playground, equipped with two slides, a climbing frame, tightrope, helter-skelter, and various climbing walls, promises both an ideal location for concealing Easter eggs and endless entertainment for the kids.

During an interview with E! News at Variety’s Power of Women event just weeks before Christmas, Meghan, who relocated to the States in 2020, confessed to crafting “special memories” with four-year-old Prince Archie and two-year-old Princess Lilibet.

She remarked: “We’re creating new ones now that our little ones are growing up. And we’re enjoying every moment of it.” So Easter will most likely be the same!

On the other side of the Atlantic, Prince William and Princess Kate are expected to observe Easter quietly with their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

This year, the family of five will forgo attending the Sunday church service as Kate continues her preventive treatment for cancer, focusing on her recovery in private.

Their children, who are enrolled at Lambrook School in Berkshire, began their school holidays last Friday, granting them nearly a month-long break.

Last year marked Prince Louis’ inaugural Easter appearance, as he held onto his mother Kate’s hand upon arrival at the chapel, while George and Charlotte accompanied the royal family for their first public Easter outing in 2022.
