Last week, Meghan Markle made a low-key appearance alongside her husband, Prince Harry, surprising royal watchers with her attire.
The Duchess of Sussex, aged 42, looked stunning in a black cape designed by Carolina Herrera, featuring elbow-length sleeves, a round neckline, and a tiered chest detail adorned with delicate white flowers and green stems.
She paired this unexpected piece with black wide-leg trousers and opted for pointed-toe flats instead of her usual suede stilettos.
Meghan wore her dark locks in loose waves and showcased a radiant makeup look with rosy pink cheeks, matching lips, and fluttery false lashes. The couple attended a viewing of The Kinsey Collection, highlighting African American Arts and History at the SoFi Stadium in California. The Kinsey African American Art and History Collection and Foundation is dedicated to researching, interpreting, and presenting the African American experience.
This outing occurred just before attention shifted to Meghan’s sister-in-law, Princess Kate, who announced her cancer diagnosis via a video message on Friday evening.
According to a recent report in The Sunday Times, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were not informed of the Princess of Wales’ diagnosis before it became public knowledge.
Prince Harry and Meghan later said in a statement: “We wish health and healing for Kate and the family, and hope they can do so privately and in peace.”
