Oasis star, Liam Gallagher is doing everything possible to make a health-comeback after regretting years of partying’ amid his arthritis battle and dealing with an autoimmune condition.
Now age is catching up with the 51-year-old after years of drinking and drug taking.
His Regret
Feeling regret, Liam told The Sun: ‘You’ve got to undo all the bad work you’ve done through f***ing getting off your head and all that.
‘It’s time to undo it all now and get back to reality. All that stuff that you thought was cool in the early days . . . it’s time to get healthy.’
Liam is currently doing more than enough to live a bit longer as he’s no longer on the drink/drug abuse side. Giving a good account of himself, he now gets up at 4am every day.
‘As you get older, life is precious, do you know what I mean? I’m a pretty happy-go-lucky guy. I love waking up early in the morning,’ he told the publication.
‘I’m definitely on the downwards slide, though. But we’re all going to die, aren’t we?’
Does Liam Have Arthritis?
Speaking about his hip issues last year he said: ‘My hips are f***ed, I’ve got arthritis, bad.
‘I went to get it checked out and my bones are mashed up. The lady was going, ‘Oh, you might need a hip operation, a replacement.”
Liam’s Health Struggles
In 2017, Liam was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s disease, an autoimmune condition of the thyroid gland. In addition he also suffers with the skin condition psoriasis.
In 2023 Liam revealed that he needed the joints replacing in his hip due to arthritis as a result of a longstanding thyroid problem. He then underwent a major hip operation.
