Kylie Jenner has discussed how her looks have ‘never been accepted’.
Since shooting to fame at the tender age of nine on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, the make-up mogul, 26, has faced scrutiny over her changing looks – with heavy emphasis on her plumped up lips and the lies surrounding her pout.
What People Say About Kylie Jenner
The star has been slammed for lying about having fillers, before confessing the truth and making millions from her Kylie Lip Kits.
Speaking candidly in an interview with The New York Times, she said: ‘It’s just years and years of not feeling like my face or looks are accepted. There’s nothing anyone could ever say now that would hurt me.’
It All Started in 2015
Speculation over her lips came in 2015, when she admitted to having fillers in May of that year having shown off fuller lips since she was 16.
After initially claiming clever make-up trickery was the secret behind her transformation, she later admitted on KUWTK: ‘I have had temporary lip fillers’.
Khloe Drums Support For Her
Her supportive sister Khloe Kardashian defended her sibling, adding: ‘Kylie decided to plump her lips and I don’t think there is anything wrong with that.’
In one of her many defenses, Kylie discussed her changing image.
She said: ‘You guys have watched me grow up since I was nine. My face is going to get different. Now, I know how to do my makeup, contour and everything. I’m not against surgery. I’d never say no, but I don’t desire it right now.’
Did Kylie Jenner Underwent Plastic Surgery?
Last year, Kylie dismissed surgery claims and insisted she’s only had lip fillers despite her significant facial transformation over the years.
The youngest of The Kardashian/Jenner sisters discussed her appearance on the penultimate episode of Hulu’s The Kardashians.
Kylie shared in a confessional segment: ‘We all have our little things, so it’s normal to be insecure sometimes, but I always just remember being like the most confident kid in the room. I always loved myself, I still love myself.’
‘One of the biggest misconceptions about me is that I was like this insecure child and I got so much surgery to change my whole face, which is false.’
