On Sunday, James Middleton shared a heartwarming post on social media featuring several members of his family. The 36-year-old entrepreneur recorded himself with his dog Isla, accompanied by a group of other furry companions, offering advice to dog owners on integrating puppies into their household.
Several scenes from the video seemed to be captured in the spacious family garden of the father-of-one in Berkshire, where he resides with his wife, Alizeé, and their baby son, Inigo.
Alongside the video were the words: “Happy National Puppy Day! There’s a minefield of information out there on how you should prepare taking a puppy home for the first time.
“With a pack of six dogs and multiple litters under my belt, check out the link in my bio for my best advice on welcoming your new puppy home.”
At the conclusion of the video, James is seen affectionately embracing his dog Isla in the warm sunlight. In addition to Isla, James resides with a pack of dogs including Zulu, Inka, Luna, Mabel, and Nala.
Princess Kate’s brother holds a deep affection for his furry companions and has openly expressed how having dogs significantly improved his mental well-being. He especially cherished his dog Ella, whose passing in January last year deeply affected him.
Just two days after James expressed a heartfelt tribute to his sister, the Princess of Wales, upon learning of her cancer treatment, he shared a touching photo. This image, posted on Friday following the announcement, depicted James and Kate as children, joyfully posing for the camera during a mountain walk.
Accompanying the photo were words of unwavering support: “Over the years, we have climbed many mountains together. As a family, we will climb this one with you too.”
Known for their exceptionally close bond, the brother-sister duo has always been there for each other. James has openly acknowledged the immense support he received from Kate and their sister, Pippa, during his struggle with depression.
In 2021, he disclosed to the Telegraph that both sisters attended several of his therapy sessions.
“Not necessarily at the same time, but either individually and sometimes together and that was so important because that helped them understand me and how my mind was working,” he told the publication. “And I think the way the therapy helped me was that I didn’t need my family to say, ‘What can we do?’ The only thing they could do was just come to some of the therapy sessions to start to understand.”
