Husband FINALLY snapped and punched his wife’s new lover after putting up with wife’s ‘multiple affairs’

A frustrated husband who have been bottling in some ridicules from his wife finally lift the lid of the can and mete out some fury to his new rival.

Court Heard

46-year-old David Lukey who is an aerospace engineer, finally found his rage when he returned to the family home to find wife Andrea half-naked and another man in the house.

He went round looking for him and when he found Christopher Andrews who is a rugby player in the kitchen he punched him in the mouth, splitting his lip.

The cheated-on husband then smashed up two TVs and family photos before trying to drag his estranged wife from the property, accidentally pulling off her top in the process.

The police were called to the suburban address in Blandford, Dorset, and arrested Lukey for assault and causing criminal damage.

Lukey has avoided a prison sentence after he admitted charges for assaulting Mr Andrews and Mrs Lukey and criminal damage.

In his argument, he told court he reacted ‘under extreme provocation’ to his wife’s ‘multiple affairs’, DailyMail reported.

Court Ruling

He has been handed a 12-month community order, told to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work, complete 30 rehabilitation days, pay £500 compensation for the damage and £199 costs and victim surcharge.

Lukey was also made subject to a restraining order not to contact Mrs Lukey or attend his former home.

How The Marriage Got to a Wrong Turn

Poole Magistrate Court heard that the couple had been married for 10 years but Prosecutor Jason Spelman said Mrs Lukey claimed the relationship had ‘struggled’ in recent years.    

Mr Spelman said that Lukey and his wife had separated six weeks earlier and that Mrs Lukey now considered herself single. 

The couple had an an agreement that he could return to the house to see his children and do his washing.

Then on the morning of September 20 2023 when he came around, he found someone else’s car on the drive. 

Mr Spelman said: ‘His wife appeared wearing minimal clothing and he described feeling f***ing livid knowing there was another man in the house.

‘He said they had an agreement that she could live at the home and he would pay the mortgage provided she did not have any men in the family home.’

In her police statement, Mrs Lukey said: ‘Chris didn’t retaliate, he kept trying to tell David to calm down. David was yelling at us to get out of the house. I felt very threatened.
