Crown Princess Victoria radiated joy as she revealed a portrait depicting her likeness during her visit to Bangladesh, spanning four days. The 46-year-old future Swedish queen smiled brightly as she unveiled the painting, exhibited at the Asian University for Women.
In the portrait, Crown Princess Victoria is depicted wearing a stunning blue off-the-shoulder dress adorned with the Napoleonic Cut-Steel Tiara, featuring a captivating gold feather and floral design.
During her tour of the university facilities, aimed at empowering women from challenging backgrounds in the region, Victoria exuded elegance in a blue and green floral-printed dress by Malina, paired with white wedge-heel sandals.
The Crown Princess said: “With your drive, determination, and education, I place great hope in you as future changemakers.”
The royal is on a visit to the South Asian country in her capacity as a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). Her trip commenced in the capital city of Dhaka, where she participated in an event focused on inclusive digital development. This initiative aims to support local communities by providing essential public services, including assistance with obtaining ID cards and training in digital literacy.
Subsequently, Crown Princess Victoria engaged in a meeting with the Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina.
During her field visit to Khulna on Tuesday, she interacted with local residents, with a particular emphasis on initiatives aimed at addressing climate change. Additionally, she observed the implementation of new water treatment systems and the inauguration of new digital post offices in rural areas.
Notably, the heir to the Swedish throne embarked on this visit without the company of her husband, Prince Daniel, who delivered a speech at a trade conference in Stockholm on the same day.
The couple, married since 2010, are parents to two children: Princess Estelle, aged 12, and Prince Oscar, aged eight.
