Meghan Markle surprised her fans on Thursday by unveiling the details of her brand-new lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard – and it has already garnered support from her well-known acquaintances. The Duchess of Sussex, aged 42, announced her latest venture via a new Instagram page, which has quickly amassed a following of 315,000 followers.

Among the notable names following the Duchess’ new account are Kris Jenner, Abigail Spencer, Elle Macpherson, Mindy Kaling, and Misha Nonoo. Additionally, Mandana Dayani, who served as president of Archewell from 2021 to 2022, is also among the followers. Mandana even shared a message on her Instagram account upon the brand’s launch.

It read: “Such a big day!! Can’t wait for all that is to come. Follow @americanrivieraorchard for more, it’s going to be incredible!” and was shared alongside a screenshot of the brand’s Instagram page.

Other intimate friends of Meghan were eager to demonstrate their support as well. Kelly McKee Zajfen and Heather Dorak were among the initial followers of the new brand. Just a few weeks ago, Kelly and Heather were captured enjoying a large family ski trip with Meghan and the Sussexes.

Kelly couldn’t be prouder of her friend and following the news also shared a message on her Instagram account. She wrote: “Couldn’t be more proud of you and what’s to come. Stay tuned!!!! @americanorchard. Love you M.”

Meghan launched the lifestyle brand on Thursday

In addition to launching the new page, Meghan unveiled a teaser trailer hinting at what’s to come. The stylish clip featured a vintage aesthetic and showcased the mother-of-two cooking in a stunning stone kitchen. The video then transitioned to the Duchess arranging white hydrangeas and roses, with glimpses of Meghan in a billowing black floor-length dress filmed from a distance. Accompanied by Nancy Wilson’s “I Wish You Love,” the idyllic and stylized clip set the tone for the brand.

The page also shared the brand’s logo, elegantly scripted in gold calligraphy, which was presented across nine posts. These images confirmed that the brand would be situated in Montecito, where Meghan and Harry established a new life with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, after departing the UK in 2020.

While the specific details of the brand’s offerings have yet to be confirmed, a trademark application filed on February 2nd of this year, as reported by PA, indicated that the company intends to provide downloadable and printed recipe books, tableware, textiles, jams, and marmalades, according to the United States Patent and Trademark Office website.

This isn’t the first time Meghan has created her own lifestyle brand. Prior to marrying her husband, she had a successful blog named, The Tig, which she formerly described as “a conversation between girlfriends”.
