DRUG – Tish Cyrus has revealed it was her lookalike daughter Miley who got her on the ‘devil’s drug’ Marijuana after a near-fatal bus fire during the singer’s Bangerz tour in 2014.

Why She Used it

The manager, 56, turned to the drug as she was unable to sleep after the tour bus she was sleeping on exploded just minutes after she escaped.

Appearing on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Tish declared she ‘loves weed’ and gave an insight into the breakdown of her marriage to ex Billy Ray, having a superstar daughter and finding love again with Prison Break star Dominic Purcell.

When she Started Smoking

When asked about when she started smoking Marijuana, Tish revealed it was her daughter Miley, 31, who told her to take the ‘devil’s drug’.

She said: ‘I did not smoke pot until the Bangerz tour, 10 years ago. I was like “this is the devil, the gateway drug”.

But we were on tour and I’m on a brand new tour bus with Noah and Miley’s manager. I’m going to sleep, but there is a fire from a burst tyre.

‘We pull to the side of the road, I’m trying to get Noah, my dog and to wake the manager up. Three minutes later, the bus exploded. My pyjamas, laptop everything burnt. It was crazy.’

She was Traumatized

Tish was traumatised after the blaze and struggled to fall to sleep while she continued to tour the country with her daughter on a different bus.

She turned to a sleeping pill Ambien to help her but it left her feeling ‘so bad’.

She said: ‘Miley was like “Mum if you could just smoke weed”. That’s how it started. I started smoking to go to sleep.’

‘I Love Weed’

Tish later added: ‘I am a Christian and I love weed.’

Elsewhere in the podcast, Tish spoke about the moment she begged a doctor to ‘put me in a mental hospital’ after filing for divorce from her husband of 30 years Billy Ray, 62, and her beloved mother’s death.
