Rick Hoffman, who starred in the TV show Suits with Meghan Markle, is famous for a photo of him cringing at the Royal Wedding in 2018.
On Barstool Sports’ Chicks in the Office podcast, he told the funny story behind the uncomfortable photo, joking about how nauseous he was while stuck inside the church on Meghan and Prince Harry’s special day.
“If you type in my name in on Google you see my face making that awful face,” he informed one of the hosts before launching into the story.
While stuck in the church, Hoffman said that he began to “smell something really terrible and foul” in the still air. He presumed it to be “terrible breath,” so bad it must have come from more than one person.
The irony of the story came in a twist. “Guess who knew that the most in the cast that I had an issue with other people’s hygiene?” he begged.
“Meghan! Always knew and would always laugh about how I was so sensitive.”
Overlooking the traumatic scent, Hoffman said the event was “incredibly special” and that it “didn’t feel real” to be there among the thousands who gathered to witness the Royal couple tie the knot.
Meghan and Prince Harry have separated themselves from the Royal Family in the years since the wedding, but with the recent health worries over King Charles and Kate Middleton, reports say that the couple has reconnected with the family for support, even if it may come with some bad breath.
However, the attempts at reconciliation in this time of concern will not earn Prince Harry back his Royal privileges, according to the latest reports.
