A CCTV image has been released of a man suspected of attacking a 60-year-old in a ‘racially motivated’ assault.
How it Happened
The Metropolitan Police have released the image as a part of a manhunt for a suspect who knocked a man in his 60s to the ground and assaulted him on November 3 2024 at around 9.50pm.
The incident occurred at Garden’s Food and Wine in Manchester Road on the Isle of Dogs. The victim was taken to hospital where he was treated for minor injuries.
Police say they are treating the attack as racially motivated and, after launching an investigation, the Met recovered the CCTV from the shop with the aim of hopefully naming the thug who carried out the attack.
