This is the terrifying moment a machete brawl broke out in the middle of the street as bus passengers screamed in terror.
Three men were seen swinging blades at each other on Clapham Road, near Stockwell Underground Station, on Friday afternoon.
Passengers on a passing bus filmed the scuffle while crying out in shock as one of the men was chased into the Taste More fish and chip shop beside Pret A Manger.Â
At The Scene
As the scene unfolded, one bus passenger gasped and said: ‘Look at the knives.’ Another added: ‘What is wrong with them.’
Officers were on scene within three minutes after receiving a call about the brawl at 1.56pm.Â
Number of Victims
A 16-year-old boy was sliced in the head, taken to hospital and later arrested in connection with the brawl. His condition is not life-threatening.
It appeared that the two men dressed in black were fighting the third, who was in a turquoise top and light grey trousers.
At least two of the men seemed to be wearing masks.Â

By the end of the footage, the man in turquoise seemed to have barricaded himself in the fish and chip shop.
The two other men were seen trying to pull the door open.
The London Ambulance Service said its paramedics were stood down and did not attend the scene.
Police Intervention
However, the police set up a large cordon, which stretched past Stockwell Tube Station, along Clapham Road and Binfield Road and past Pret A Manger and Taste More.
Met Police Detective Chief Inspector Adam Seton of the Central South Command Unit said: ‘This was a shocking and disturbing incident, which took place at a busy location in broad daylight.
‘Many members of the public were present and it must have been extremely alarming and distressing for them. Police officers were on scene within three minutes and quickly made an arrest.’
