Horror as THREE are stabbed to death in Sydney

Students at a martial arts academy received a disturbing text moments before a woman and a young boy were found fatally stabbed at a taekwondo studio and her dead husband’s body was discovered at a nearby townhouse.

Horrified parents revealed how they were sent a ‘weird text’ by the Lion’s Taekwondo studio in North Parramatta, in Sydney’s west, on Tuesday morning.

What The ‘Weird’ Message Reads

The message said lessons were cancelled because the academy’s chief instructor, Master Lion Yoo, was in hospital.

‘Due to injuries resulting from a car accident this morning, Master is currently in the hospital,’ it said. ‘Therefore, Taekwondo classes will be temporarily suspended starting today’.

The Victims

Min Cho, a woman in her 40s, and a seven-year-old boy were both found stabbed to death inside the martial arts studio on Tuesday morning, two hours after her husband, Steven Cho, was found dead at the front of their home in Watkins Road, Baulkham Hills.

Mr Cho worked for construction firm Richard Crookes while his worked at several businesses in recent years. They bought their home in 2016.

It’s understood police have been trying to contact relatives of the deceased.

Master Lion is Arrested

Master Lion is under police guard in hospital after he was admitted with serious but non-life-threatening knife wounds around 1am on Tuesday. He has since undergone emergency surgery to his arms and torso.

It’s understood that Master Lion Yoo presented himself to Westmead Hospital early Tuesday morning bloodied and suffering from serious injuries.

Investigation is Going on

Hospital staff called in police to investigate his injuries after Master Lion told them that he was injured at the taekwondo studio in North Parramatta on Monday night.

A mystifying text from his academy sent out later that morning announcing that ‘pickup at 3.10 PM for afterschool activities is no longer possible’.

One mother admitted she knew it was ‘clearly not a car accident when I saw all the police outside the studio when I went to pick up the kids from school’.

What Led to The Stabbings?

Police sources said it was too early to say if the deaths were domestic violence-related but detectives are believed to be probing the possibility of a deadly love triangle.
