Giovanni Pernice appears to have a type – he reportedly started dating model Molly Brown just days after dating a lookalike blonde boxing ring girl.
Strictly Come Dancing professional Giovanni, 33, is said to have enjoyed a small number of dates with ring girl Layla Brown, 27, earlier this year before she dumped him.
Why She Dumped Him
It is claimed the pair struck up a conversation online before deciding to meet up but things fizzled out between the pair.
Just seven days later twinkle-toed star Giovanni is said to have found a spark with model Molly, 24, who it emerged he was dating earlier this month.
A source told The Sun: ‘Giovanni had a few dates with Layla after he messaged her and started chatting her up.
‘They had fun together but she ended it and he moved on.’
Layla is Surprised Now
It is claimed Layla was surprised to see Giovanni with Molly as they look so similar but things had ended between them before Giovanni was linked with Molly.
How Giovanni Met Layla
Giovanni is said to have messaged Layla on Instagram in September last year but she was not keen on going out with him at first.
But she warmed to him and the pair met up for a date a few months later.
It was first reported Giovanni was dating model Molly earlier this month.
A source told the Mirror: ‘Giovanni and Molly met a few weeks ago, and though it is very early days, things seem to be going well between them.
‘He has been keeping things quiet because he didn’t want too much pressure on as they’re getting to know each other.
‘But the signs so far seem to be positive and he has let a few of his friends in on the secret. It’s very much a case of watch this space.’

Giovanni’s Exes
The Italian dancer has previously dated a whole host of stars including Love Island‘s Maura Higgins, former The Only Way Is Essex star Jess Wright and his former Strictly celebrity parter Georgia May Foote.
He was most recently linked to Strictly co-star Jowita Przystal, before reportedly splitting in March 2023 after three months due to their ‘hectic work schedules’.
It comes after Giovanni addressed criticism about his teaching techniques having come under fire when his 2023 Strictly partner Amanda Abbington claimed the show left her with post-traumatic stress disorder.
During an appearance on The One Show last month he was asked about training of his celebrity partners, to which he said: ‘I’m definitely a perfectionist.’
‘Like everybody else, I like to win. But for me it’s more about bringing the best out of partners, especially if I see that there is talent there. I want to do my job properly.’
His alleged feuds with 2016 partner Laura Whitmore and 2020’s Ranvir Singh have also resurfaced, while 2021’s Rose Ayling-Ellis 2017’s Debbie McGee have spoken out in his defence.
