Gaz Beadle’s ex Emma McVey detailed the ‘struggles of juggling life’ as a single parent on Instagram on Tuesday following the pair’s split last year.
The model, 31, shares Chester, five, and Primrose, three, with the Geordie Shore star, 35, and announced in November that the pair had separated.
Her Revelation
Emma revealed ‘life is 1000mph’ at the minute but despite this she is ‘the happiest’ she has been in a long time and thanked fans for their support.
Sharing a mirror selfie, Emma penned: ‘I want to say thank you for the lovely messages and comments you guys send daily. Without you I wouldn’t have my main job, so thank you for being so supportive.
‘I also wanted to touch on life recently, I’m slow and not as responsive because the mental load atm is so much and life is 1000mph but for being a newly single mum, I’m actually the happiest I’ve been in a long time, it’s just a struggle to juggle life sometimes.’
Beautiful Primrose in Nursery Already
Emma also shared an adorable picture of Primrose as she revealed her little girl isn’t old enough yet for school, but goes to nursery twice a week.
She wrote: ‘My little crazy who looks like she’s six isn’t in school yet so I have Monday’s and Wednesdays child free when she goes to nursery. And those 5 hours fly by!’

Her Advice to Other Single Mums
Giving ‘advice’ to other single mums, Emma revealed that ‘taking time to yourself’ is what ‘helps’ her from ‘burning out’.
She continued: ‘And if I could give any advice to newly single mummy’s going through this too, or even mums to be honest, it’s take sometime for yourself, I never prioritised this before but since doing so it’s helped so much.
‘There’s only so much we can take on without getting overstimulated and burnt out. Our children want a happy mum.’
Emma also detailed her co-parenting schedule with Gaz, she explained: ‘My Fridays they see their dad and come home Saturday. I’ve started using this time for myself’.
The former couple tied the knot in July 2021 after five years together.
At the start of their split, Emma remained silent but has since opened up on the end of her marriage.
