LAS VEGAS – Britain‘s richest artist, Damien Hirst excelled himself for the 30th of Sophie Cannell, who is heavily pregnant with their first child together.
Cake Like a Foetus
Hirst, 58, presented the former ballet dancer with an extraordinary cake in the shape of her body, displaying their unborn baby.
It appears to have been inspired by his series of giant bronze sculptures showing the development of the foetus in the womb, called The Miraculous Journey.
All Celebration in Vegas
The artist, who lives with Cannell at his £36 million, 14-bedroom home in London‘s Regent’s Park, is celebrating in Las Vegas.
‘Wouldn’t want my birthday anywhere else,’ she says.
Number of Hirst’s Children
Hirst has three adult sons with his American ex-girlfriend, Maia Norman.
It’s not known what presents Hirst bought Cannell, with whom he’s been in a relationship for six years.
For her 29th, he gave her more than 20 gifts wrapped in pink paper.
