Beyoncé has made her mark as a singer, actress, producer and clothing designer and now she’s embarking on a new business venture.

The artist, 42, who opened up about her childhood struggle with psoriasis, launched her own hair care line, Cécred, on Tuesday.

The Grammy winner details her family history with hair care while modeling a series of dazzling looks in a cover shoot for Essence magazine’s March/April issue.

Her Dazzling Looks As a Model

The photo shoot includes many different hair looks, illustrating the Halo artist’s claim that her new brand is good for all hair types and styles.

In one image the songbird is naked under a brown fur coat as she adds high heels.

The publication is offering two different covers for the issue, one with the Pretty Hurts artist’s long, blonde hair styled straight and wrapped around her neck like a scarf, with Beyoncé wearing a cerulean blue top.

The other features soft curls in a high bun, with the hitmaker donning a shear teal turtleneck and accessorizing with dangling diamond earrings.

The versatile artist, who is two-stepping into the Country music genre, said some of her earliest memories are from her mother Tina Knowles‘ hair salon.

Her Family History With Hair Care

‘I saw her shampooing and trimming hair, transforming women, leaving them feeling really good. Looking back, it was more than just a hair appointment—it was therapy,’ the Billboard Music Award winner reminisced.

While working at the hair salon, the once introverted young women decided she wanted to pursue a different future.

When She Caught Her Dream

‘It was in her salon that I realized my dreams of being a performer—inspired by one of her clients who happened to be an opera singer,’ she explained.

What is Her Foundation?

‘I was captivated by her stories of a recent trip to Germany. In awe, I distinctly remember telling my mom that I wanted to be just like her client.’

‘That’s my foundation,’ the My Power singer stated.

‘I think as an artist, so much of my bold experimentation with hair comes from being inspired by art and sculptures; getting creative with braids; figuring out new techniques; and exploring ways to maintain hair growth with protective styles and wigs, while still feeling fabulous. It all stems from my experiences growing up in my mother’s salon.’
