Anya Taylor-Joy has been accused of ‘normalising starvation’ and promoting eating disorder trope after displaying her tiny waist in a corset.
The actress, 27, shared a behind-the-scenes snap to Instagram on Sunday following the Dune premiere, in which she’d cinched in her waist under her glittering gown.
She went topless in the black and white image that highlighted her extremely narrow midsection.

Waist training – where you wear tighter and tighter undergarments to cinch in your middle permanently – is now de rigueur among certain celebs.
But doctors and historians have warned against the trend, revealing that restricting the waist can take its toll on many aspects of the body.
Along with her corset snap, Anya shared a snap in a dramatic Maison Margiela gown from creative director John Galliano’s Parisian-inspired SS24 Haute Couture Collection.
The incredible dress featured a form-fitting gold slip underneath, and a black sheer tulle structured dress over it.
