Adele has revealed she’s been forced to postpone the next dates of her Las Vegas residency after illness ‘took a toll on her voice.’

Days after revealing she’d been placed on vocal rest, the singer, 35, shared the sad news that all 10 of her March shows would be pushed back to a later date after being ordered to rest on ‘doctors orders.’

Adele is due to wrap up her Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in June, and is thought to be earning around £1.5 million per show.

Her Apology

Posting a statement on Instagram. Adele wrote: ‘Sadly I have to take a beat and pause my Vegas residency. I was sick at the end of the last leg and all the way through my break.

‘I hadn’t quite gotten the chance to get back to full health before shows resumed and now I’m sick again, and unfortunately it’s taken a toll on my voice.

‘And so on Doctors orders I have no choice but to rest thoroughly. The remaining five weekens of this leg are being postponed to a later date.

‘We are already working out the details and you will be sent the information ASAP.’

Adele went onto list the dates of her residency that would be postponed, which included every weekend in March.

The postponed dates are: 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23, 29 and 30 March.

It Has Been Coming

Over the weekend, Adele revealed she was taking several days of vocal rest after suffering a scare during her Las Vegas residency.

Stressed and emotional Adele complained of suffering voice issues, which made her sound like the cartoon villain ‘Ursula’ from The Little Mermaid.

The Londoner apologized to the audience at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace admitting she had concerns about hitting notes over a chest issue.

However the self confessed motormouth, 35, will have to ‘lock herself away’ to stop chatting with her sociable son and partner Rich Paul.

Adele, who underwent surgery for polyps in her throat in 2011, made it clear to Saturday’s packed house of those concerned about her performance at the start of her show.
