Two cops ARE shot in broad daylight in Brooklyn as six people are injured

BROOKLYN – Two cops have been shot and six people have been injured in Brooklyn, according to law enforcement sources.

One officer was shot in the hand and the other in the leg at 1969 Bergen Street just before 3.30pm on Tuesday.

Number of Victims

A total of six people were injured but it is not clear how many suffered gunshot wounds.

The cops were rushed to Kings County Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspected gunman was arrested and also suffering injuries. He is alleged to have grabbed one of the officer’s pistols during the fracas.

Police sources would not confirm what led to the shooting but said ‘it was domestic in nature.’
