I’m a TikTok honey trapper – I’ll FIND OUT if your boyfriend would be willing to cheat on you and I’ll do it for free

RELATIONSHIP – Partners being unfaithful is nothing new, but thanks to TikTok ‘love detectives’ it is harder to get away with.

The TikTok ‘loyalty test’ has seen hundreds reach out to content creators in a bid to see if their other half would really cheat on them.

The outcome of these tests – including screen grabs of the risqué messages – are regularly shared on the For You Page for all to see.

Although many honey trappers (the women and men asked to ‘test’ people’s partners by flirting with them) carve out an illustrious career by charging for their services, some do it out of the kindness of their heart.

One Essex TikToker, Dani Bose, has amassed a huge following by sliding into the DMs of blissfully unaware boyfriends, truly testing their loyalty – and she does it for free.

The content creator has published numerous videos detailing the results of each ‘loyalty test’.

According to Dani, she is inundated with messages from distrusting girlfriends who want her to contact and flirt with their partners to see if they answer.

In one clip, the OnlyFans model is asked by an anonymous woman to put her boyfriend – who recently cheated – to the test.

How one honey trap test went

The girlfriend revealed she had recently forgiven him, and he had even given her his great grandmother’s promise ring for assurance.

Dani quickly gets to work, pretending to have seen the man at an undisclosed pub, with the boyfriend quickly turning the conversation sexual.

Discussing the cheater, she said: ‘He’s moving like all of the boys in Casa Amor isn’t he?’

Mocking the anonymous man, she added: ‘I just had to test it to see if what I have with my girlfriend is real. Okay.’

Dropping a bombshell at the end of their conversation, Dani sent the cheater his girlfriend’s number.

Not too kind responses

However, the process isn’t always smooth sailing as some followers don’t respond too kindly when Dani attempts to honey trap their partners – upon their request.

The TikToker, who has a following of around 388,000, has shared multiple instances where women have been upset after she has reached out to their partners.

In another video, one girl became upset with Dani when she didn’t ask her boyfriend thrice if he was single.

The follower quickly became pushy writing: ‘I swear this is your job? So I’m a customer and your being awful,’ to which Dani stressed it is not her job – nor does she get paid.

Things quickly turned sour when the anonymous woman did not get her own way, as she began to accuse Dani of ‘stealing boyfriends’.

All 4 documentary – Untold: Cheat Detectives

Unlike Dani, some TikTok honeytrappers will catch out unfaithful partners but only for a fee.

A 2022 All 4 documentary – Untold: Cheat Detectives, presented by Kiss FM Breakfast show host Daisy Maskell uncovered how lucrative this trend can be.

Not only for those who decide to bill for their services but also for those who use it to build their following.

While many will carry out loyal tests in return for being able to share any messages in their own content and grow their audience, some will ask for a hefty fee.

How they make their money

According to Daisy: ‘There are people out there earning £1,400 a week. A lot of honey trappers… don’t charge their clients at all but do it for the content.

‘If they’re signed to TikTok’s creator’s fund they’ll get about £30 per million views but the real goal is to get enough followers to be seen as an influencer.

‘Top influencers can literally be paid over a million pounds for a single sponsored post.’
