The five surviving members of the first lady sisterhood were united today as they stood together front and center at Rosalynn Carter‘s funeral.

Melania Trump, Michelle Obama, Laura Bush, Hillary Clinton, and current first lady Jill Biden appeared to temporarily bury their differences to remember one of their exclusive club.

What did Melania Trump wear to Rosalynn Carter’s funeral?

Mrs Trump opted for a distinctive gray tweed coat, which she teamed with black shoes and leather gloves, while the others instead donned muted all-black ensembles.

She looked somber throughout the proceedings but was seen thanking country star Garth Brooks, who sang a rendition of John Lennon’s Imagine, for performing at the ceremony.

Mrs Trump, who let her curled tresses drape loosely over her shoulder, received a kiss on the cheek from Brooks after the ceremony – as did Mrs Obama and Mrs Clinton.

Donald Trump’s wife was first to walk into Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church in Atlanta, Georgia, taking a seat on the end of the front row next to the aisle.

She accessorized with black kitten heels and understated silver hoops.

Similarly, Mrs Bush decided on a black dress with three-quarter sleeves which was complemented by an oversized pearl necklace and open-toed shoes.

Mrs Clinton also arrived buttoned up. She appeared in a long coat, loose-fitting trousers and heels with a handbag swung over her shoulder.

Jill Biden, the current first lady, was separated from the other four by Bill Clinton.
