Gayle King channeled her inner model while enjoying her annual swimsuit shoot with her niece over Thanksgiving.

The 68-year-old CBS Mornings co-anchor spent her holiday soaking up the sun with her family at Rosewood Mayakoba, a five-star luxury resort on Mexico’s Riviera Maya.
Per tradition, she couldn’t let the long weekend pass without spoofing her 27-year-old niece Mekenzye Schwab’s bikini photos, which she has been doing since 2017.
King took to Instagram on Monday to share photos of herself recreating Schwab’s poses during their vacation.
‘Back by popular demand: Our annual Thanksgiving swimsuit photo shoot with fav niece @mknzschwb,’ she captioned the images.
‘It all started as a joke in 2017 where I was making fun of Mekenzye and now it’s turned into a thing….but full disclosure everybody looks good taking a picture at @rwmayakoba in Cancun! Highly recommend.’
All yellow ladies
The first photo in the post shows King and Schwab wearing complementary yellow one-pieces with plunging necklines while walking on a sandy beach path together.
When her niece grabbed a piece of shrubbery and smiled for the camera, she struck the same exact pose for her own shot.
In another set of images, they are walking down the stairs of a yacht, the blue sea sparkling behind them.
Schwab was modeling a black and white bikini, while her aunt had on a similar, albeit less revealing, one-piece.
King included an unretouched closeup of her backside while she walked into the water and a sultry image of herself enjoying an outdoor shower.
The journalist’s hilarious post received more than 13,000 likes, and hundreds of fans praised her for continuing the tradition with the shoot.
