Four people have been arrested on suspicion of stabbing a 49-year-old man to death in east London.
Statement from police
The Met Police said officers and London Ambulance Services were called to Cranwood Street, Hackney, at around 3.10am on December 26.
Investigation
The man was found with stab wounds and died from his injuries. Inquiries are continuing to inform his next of kin.
Arrest
Two men, aged 49 and 42, along with two women, aged 35 and 44, have been detained on suspicion of murder.
They remain in police custody and a crime scene is in place.
Another stabbing incident
It comes as a teenager was arrested after a woman was found stabbed to death in London on Christmas Eve.
Police were called just after 10pm on December 24 to reports of a 22-year-old woman with a stab injury at a house in Spenlow House in Jamaica Road, Bermondsey, south London.
Officers attended along with paramedics from the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance.
They provided emergency first aid to the woman, however she died at the scene. Her family have been informed.
