Cops investigate ‘domestic violence homicide’
A 27-year-old San Francisco woman has been found dead in the apartment she shared with her boyfriend as police investigate her death as a ‘domestic violence homicide.’
What happened?
Kimberly Wong was found unresponsive when officers from the San Francisco Police Department performed a welfare check at her Clay Street home in the Presidio Heights neighborhood around 7pm Thursday.
When first responders arrived, they attempted life-saving efforts on Wong, but she was pronounced dead, The San Francisco Standard reported.
A neighbor told local news outlet KTVU that Wong owned the condo unit and her boyfriend had moved into the apartment two years ago.
They said that Wong was the first person to welcome them when they moved in. No arrest has been made and no suspect details have been officially released.

According to her LinkedIn profile, Wong worked in product design a plaid, a financial services company.
She also worked at Splunk and was a graduate of the University of Washington.
Neighbors and co-workers of Wong’s were devastated to hear the news about her death.
‘Somebody that young and so smart. It’s just, why?,’ said Alberto Forero, a former co-worker who sat next to Wong. ‘It’s so senseless.’
Forero said the pair would make software together. He described her as ‘positive, smart and energetic.’
