Two teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of racially aggravated assault after a female passenger was viciously beaten on the Elizabeth Line.
British Transport Police said it had arrested two girls, both 14, in connection with the assault which took place on a train near Paddington on Sunday evening.

The force confirmed the attack was not being treated as anti-Semitic.
BTP announced on X, formerly Twitter, that the youngsters are currently in police custody.
It comes after a video of an attack on a 20-year-old female passenger circulated online showing her being beaten by two thugs.
In the video, she screamed as she was punched in the face twice by one attacker and hit by the other, before she was dragged along the carriage by her hair and thrown to the carriage floor.
In the shocking footage, the victim can be heard crying out for someone to come to her aid, begging ‘please help me’.
The victim suffered injuries
The victim can be heard screaming in pain as she is kicked and punched while on the ground.
The video showed how a man came and intervened while another passenger filmed the attack on their mobile phone.
The victim was able to flee the carriage at 10.10pm on Sunday, October 29. She later required hospital treatment for her injuries.

After reports of the incident, a BTP spokesman said on Tuesday: ‘We are aware of this video and enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
‘Anyone with information is asked to contact BTP quoting ref 687 of 29 October.
‘Officers responded following reports of an assault on board an Elizabeth Line service towards Paddington station at around 10:10pm on October 29.
‘One woman attended A&E.
‘Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.’
