A New York landlord who confessed to killing two of his tenants and his own girlfriend was handcuffed in court after being held at Rikers Island.
David Daniel, 54, was seen cuffed at his hearing in Queens Criminal Court just days after he killed three people and immediately confessed.
He is facing charges of both first and second-degree murder over the deaths of his girlfriend Coleen Fields, 51, and tenants Wayne Thomas, 57, and Evette Sweeney, 55.
After being held in jail at Rikers Island for the past three days – Daniel attended court on Friday for his hearing where Judge Novillo ordered him to return on December 2 for a grand jury trial.
Exclusive photos obtained by DailyMail.com show the killer wearing a blue surgical mask over his chin and a head-to-toe brown outfit as he was escorted by a security guard into the courtroom.

There has been no formal plea yet – but Daniel confessed to the triple stabbing soon after the crime took place.
He told cops on Tuesday he was ‘having issues with his tenants’ and that ‘he did something bad.’
He confessed ‘that he had problems with his girlfriend and that the two [tenants] in the basement had not been paying their rent.’
On Wednesday, a reporter from The New York Post asked Daniel ‘Why did you do it?’ as people crowded around the suspect – who was seen wearing a suit presumable to stop him from hurting himself.
‘A lot of pressure,’ he answered, in a similar manner to the one that yesterday, during his confession, had left officers perplexed.
‘Did you say a lot of pressure?’ they asked again, shortly before the suspect was shoved into a squad car that brought him to a hearing elsewhere in Queens.
‘Yeah,’ he replied in a relaxed tone before he was taken away. ‘Pure pressure.’
