Meghan Markle Shows Off Her Legs In Chic Shorts During Lunch Outing

Meghan Markle rocked her signature neutrals as she headed out for a girl’s lunch in Santa Barbara on Friday, honoring Veteran’s Day by pinning an enamel poppy brooch to her black sweater after meeting with military families at Camp Pendleton last week.

The Duchess of Sussex, 42, looked chic in a pair of khaki-colored canvas shorts ($250) and a black roll-neck sweater ($250) — both from La Ligne — as she was photographed outside Italian restaurant Pane e Vino with her friend Kelly McKee Zajfen.

The brand has become one of Markle’s favorites in recent years; she’s seen wearing the red version of the label’s piped pajamas ($250) along with a tan take on the Marin sweater ($295) in Netflix’s “Harry & Meghan,” and also owns the striped Mini Marina sweater ($195) in blue and white.

She kept her accessories chic and simple for Friday’s outing, wearing a pair of stud earrings her usual stack of gold bracelets and a Cartier watch along with a black belt and Celine sunglasses.

The duchess finished off her look with a pair of previously worn Aquazurra ankle-strap flats ($795) and a new white striped tote from Cesta Collective ($750 $450).

After her lunch, Markle stopped by clothing boutique Wendy Foster for some shopping on the sunny Santa Barbara afternoon.

Her girl’s day follows two other poppy-themed outfits for the Duchess of Sussex last week when she visited San Diego’s Camp Pendleton and opened a Navy SEAL training facility along with Prince Harry.

Markle wore a $1,490 Carolina Herrera cardigan decorated with red poppies to meet with veterans and their families, pairing it with the same black Lafayette 148 skirt she’s worn on several other occasions, including a 2021 trip to New York.

The Duchess of Sussex then changed into a black Giorgio Armani blazer ($3,095) and coordinating trousers ($1,695) along with a slightly larger poppy brooch than she wore on Friday to attend the ribbon-cutting for the Warrior Fitness Program West Coast Facility.
