Lily Allen and husband David Harbour SEEN together for the first time since split rumors

Lily Allen and her husband David Harbour put on a public display of unity at a basketball game in New York on Thursday after being plagued by rumours their marriage is in crisis.

The singer, 38, and David, 48, were pictured for the first time since questions arose over their relationship when Lily unfollowed the Stranger Things actor on social media.

Duo enjoying a quality time together

But Lily and David looked like they were enjoying spending some quality time together as they sat courtside and watched the Cleveland Cavaliers take on the New York Knicks.

There were claims their marriage is suffering

The Smile hitmaker jetted over to America with her daughters Marnie, 10, and Ethel, 11, amid claims she and David are ‘living separate lives’.

Speculation grew further when Lily hadn’t been pictured with the Netflix star in recent days, with David attending the Thom Browne’s 20th anniversary dinner alone on Monday.

However, the couple seemingly brushed off the speculation regarding their marriage as they enjoyed some time off parenting duties to watch the game.

Lily cut a casual figure in a beige jumper, black trousers and trainers but added a touch of glamour with her expensive navy Hermes Birkin bag.

David, meanwhile, showed off his playful side as he larked around with a basketball.

The couple watched as the Cleveland Cavaliers took a much needed with over NY Knicks with a 95 – 89 win.

Why Lily unfollowed her husband on Instagram

Last week Lily unfollowed her husband, with whom she shares a lavish Brooklyn townhouse, on Instagram, prompting fears of a split.

David still follows Lily on the platform and it is possible that the singer’s sudden snub was accidental.

A source recently told The Sun: ‘Lily and David have barely been together for the past three months and have been living separate lives.’

They added: ‘When she was in London for the Pillowman, David was spotted at one performance in July before Lily was left by herself.

‘In her downtime, Lily would be with mates in London or her kids. When she went back to the US with them, there was no sign of David.’

To add further confusion, a week prior to Lily’s unfollowing, the pair celebrated their third wedding anniversary.

Lily shared a photo from their wedding day on Instagram – which is still up on her grid.

She captioned it: ‘3 years with this guy, 2nd best decision I ever made. 1st was that dress.’

The low-key ceremony was officiated by Elvis Presley impersonator and chapel co-owner Brendan Paul.

When did Lily and David started dating?

The couple were first linked in January 2019 when they attended the BAFTA Tea Party together.

In November of the same year, the Somewhere Only We know singer was photographed wearing an engagement ring.

Since tying the knot in September 2020, during the initial wave of Covid-19, DavId has taken on the role of stepfather to Lily’s two daughters.

‘I’m in a relationship with three women who all have very different opinions of me at various times,’ the actor joked at the time.

He then took a more serious tone when discussing how ‘making that kind of a commitment’ to the girls was ‘a huge thing for me’.

The Stranger Things star added: ‘And it just makes you feel a little bit more like a man, to be honest. I just feel a little bit more like an adult.’
