Princess Martha Louise of Norway is making her first foray into reality TV. The royal revealed she’s currently filming a documentary series in the hopes of showing what her life is really like outside the tabloids.
The series called Martha is set to premiere in 2021 on Norwegian broadcast station TV2 and will follow the princess’s life both at work and at home to provide “a unique encounter with a warm person like you have never seen her before.”
In a press release via the channel, the princess wrote, “I am a public figure and the press writes a lot about me. This series is an opportunity to show my life in a different and new way. I can open up in front of the camera, but I am also concerned with honesty, and that one does not contribute to speculation about me and my life.”
The documentary will show the tumultuous year Martha Louise has had to navigate both the coronavirus pandemic and a suddenly long-distance relationship with her boyfriend Shaman Durek Verrett, a spiritual guide to stars like Gwyneth Paltrow.
It will also touch on how she’s dealt with her ex-husband Ari Behn’s suicide on Christmas last year and the toll it’s taken on their three teenage daughters.
“The most important thing I do is to be present for my daughters,” the princess added in the statement. “We are a family in grief, and in addition, we have become very isolated, like most others in Norway. We have therefore just started with the recording of the series.”
But there’s a whole lot to document about Martha Louise aside from just her royal responsibilities and private life tribulations.
Hopefully, the show will also find time to chronicle some of her newer interests, like her well-established clairvoyant gifts, the “angel school” she founded to communicate with angels, and “The Princess and the Shaman” seminars she’s been hosting with her “twin flame” and “spirit hacker,” Verrett.
