A masked London pervert who has sexually assaulted more than ten Muslim women on buses is being hunted by the police.

The Met Police is investigating a series of sexual assaults on buses around Ealing, Hammersmith, Westminster and Hounslow between February 2022 and September 2023.

It said the masked man targets Muslim women, sits next to them and touches them but doesn’t speak to them.

Police are asking the public to help identify the man or to come forward if they believe they’ve also been targeted by him.

For many of the incidents, police say either the man or the alleged victims have boarded the bus at Westfield Shepherds Bush, Ealing Broadway, or Acton High Street.

There have been no arrests at this time.

Detective Sergeant Matthew Brown, of the Met’s Roads and Transport Policing Command, said: ‘We are aware of social media posts regarding this individual and appreciate the concern that these incidents will cause.

‘We would like to assure the community that we are doing all that we can to identify and locate the suspect.

‘While his face is covered in the images, we are hoping that anyone who knows him will recognise him or his clothing and get in touch.

‘Similarly, if you believe that you may have been targeted by this man, but have not yet spoken with police, please do get in touch – at the very least so that we can know that you are okay and are being supported.’
