A ‘simple’ question about a young woman’s ‘slipping’ beauty standards has sparked a furious debate online after their partner declared they had ‘let themselves go’.
The grossed-out partner said their girlfriend had become ‘lazy’ with her hygiene and appearance and it had become a huge turn off for them.
‘I can’t continue to live with her looking like a slob,’ the disappointed partner wrote in an anonymous post on a woman’s advice page on Facebook.
They then revealed that his partner ‘doesn’t care’ about her appearance and uses the same feminine hygiene products for several days.
‘I’ve tried speaking to her but she doesn’t care what she looks like because she’s with me and she’s comfortable,’ they shared. ‘She’s been wearing the same pad for three days in a row.’
Many shared their anger at the ‘shallow’ comment and told them to get over the petty issue.

You need to leave and work on yourself if your top concern is her ‘looking like a slob’,’ one said.
‘Don’t you care about her health?’ She deserves better – let her meet someone who will love her properly,’ another added.
‘Maybe you stay single until you can accept a woman who looks like sh*t on her lazy days,’ one suggested.
Another added, ‘This has got to be one of the most disrespectful things I’ve ever read – that poor woman!’
Others gave them the benefit of doubt and assumed the post was more concerned with their partner’s health.
‘Is it about how she looks or her health? If it’s just about her looks, that’s f**ked up and there’s no nice way to go about it. Both my partner and I have changed throughout our relationship – we love each other no matter what,’ a woman said.
